halo,
ich bin marc , und I bin ein amerikaner soldat auf der krieg auf Iraq. mein deutsche ist nicht so gut, .....
so I hope I dont offend anybody by typing in english until I can return to germany to have my german friends help me.
I am normally stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany and we will return from the war in March.
I have a black 1993 c4, and I would like to know where I can can purchase tires (reifen?)
of the size..
255/40/17 front
285/45/17 rear
I would like goodyear DSC-f1's, which I understand are made in dusseldorf,
or
Michelin pilot sports...
can you tell me the price and a location to purchase them?

welcome in the german corvetteforum. Don't mind about writing in english, most of us will understand.
Rollie is also looking fpr new tires the same size you need.
Maybe until march he can tell you a dealer.
i am not sure if looking on the site of http://www.reifendirekt.de will help as I don#t know if these sizes are used on other cars.
454Big is shipping a container full of corvette Parts from the USA to Germany in January, maybe he still has a possibilty to get som there, just send him a PN and ask him.
