Hallo, suche für meine auch noch ne Lenksäule, hier bei Ebay ist eine, nur weiß weder der Typ, noch ich ob die bei ner 77ér passt:?

Da steht doch 78 - 82 würd ich auch nicht anders verstehen. Aber was brauchst du denn für deine lenkung ?

Ich hab ne Sicherheitslenksäule drinne und irgendein Stift wäre abgeschert, das Lenkrad lässt sich also frei zu mir ziehen und wieder zurück. und die Hupe ist auch naja.... teilweise defekt.
Passt denn die Säule bei mir rein!?

Wenn, dann tilt/tele .
Der Winter ist doch nahe, bau also die Säule aus und versuch zu reparieren.
Jim Shea aus dem US Forum hat super Anleitungen dazu eingestellt und es sollte doch möglich sein, diese kaputte Tele Funktion wieder hin zu bekommen.
Ach ja, die Telefunktion ( also rein und raus ) wird mit nem Drehrädchen unter dem Hupenknopf verriegelt.
Hast du das mal versucht ? ( hoffe, das ist bei der 77er auch so ).

Der Schrauber meinte das wäre Scheerstifte die weg sind.

Hallo
Man kann alles ersetzen an der Säule.
Ich glaube nicht, dass da Scherstifte weg sind, besonders nicht in der Telefunktion.
Die Sicherheitssäule ist , die kolabiert, ist weiter unten im Motorraum und damit kann man nicht das Lenkrad rausziehen-

Das sind ja auch nur wenige cm max 4-5... Wenns raus kommt, sehe ich seitlich löcher in der Säule. Ist auch ein leichter Federdruck, der die Säule raus drückt.

Zu deiner FRage , ob die 78-82er E-Bay Säule in deine 77er passt, hier was Jim Shea dazu schreibt:
One thing to keep in mind. There are two distinct designs of C3 Corvette steering columns (not counting the 1968 type). The 1969 through 1976 columns and the later 1977+ columns. Basically the later steering columns actually moved the steering wheel further away from the driver (toward the instrument cluster)
Also prinzipiell sollte die dann passen.
Und hier mal was er schreibt zu von alleine rausteleskopierenden Steuerrädern:
One last observation: You didn't mention what year Corvette we are dealing with. On all Corvette T&T columns, 1970 through 1982, (the exception being the 1969 T&T), there is a plastic retainer on top of the locking plate. This retainer is GM #7808385 and is available from many Corvette suppliers. The original retainer usually crumbles and breaks into pieces when you try and remove it from the steering shaft. That retainer is quite important for two reasons:
1. It secures the metal C-clip. If the C-clip was dislodged the entire steering wheel, hub, and upper steering shaft could come right out of the column head. Not a pleasant thought when driving down the highway.
2. The retainer also acts as an electrical insulator. Without the retainer, the big telescope spring that is attached to the steering wheel hub would touch the metal locking plate and your horn will blow continually.
Das Teil 7808385 scheint also wichtig zu sein.
