Yeeah! Dieser Umbau wäre mir auch recht ! Allerdings dann lieber bei einer Z06 !!! Hallo

Car Info
RIDE – 1999 Chevy Corvette Hard Top, Red in color, RWP - 470

UNDER THE HOOD – 396 cubic inch engine, LS-6 block, LS – 6 heads ported and polished, titanium valve components, Stainless Valves, Comp Cam Springs (built by Wheel to Wheel) LS – 6 Intake, Custom ported throttle body, Comps cam (MTI 427 cam / Duration 236/236, Lift 578/578, Lobe separation 112 degrees), J E pistons, Lunati rods, Lunati crank, Custom oil pump, TPIS Headers, 3inch exhaust dumping into Super Sprint Mufflers, RC Engineering custom blue printed and flowed injectors, Ram Air style air system, Aluminum Radiator, Custom Oil cooler, 175 degree thermostat, Under drive pulley, Nitrous oxide 125 shot

TRANSMISSION – The transmission is a factory style 6 speed. Craig Taylor of Taylor Racing built the trans April of 2003. I t has approximately 100 miles since rebuild. The following was done. REM treatment (Taylor’s friction reducing service), High temperature wear pads on shift forks, Viper shift forks that were engineered for racing conditions, New synchros. This trans was specifically designed for this car. It is the only transmission that has been done this way by him.

Stiff Stuff – Penske shocks, GM’S T-1 suspension (kit includes the following items, control arms upper/lower, bushings, sway bars and Z51 leaf springs.
Note: The kit came with t-1 leaf springs. They sucked hard. At 150 mph, the car would drift all over the road. That is how I ended up in 2nd place at Big Bend. Latter spoke with Ken Brown at Chevrolet Racing who advised that those springs had issues at high speed and recommended going to the Z51 springs.

Chassis – The radio and speakers have been removed. Passenger side air bag removed and driver side disabled. Some of these areas have been covered by carbon fiber. A/C removed. A lot of the extra glue that GM slops around has been cut out to help lighten the car. Custom 6-point rolls cage, transmission cooler with pump and amp fans, and diff cooler with pump and amp fans both of these are activated by a safety toggle switch. The car has two Sparco Pro 2000 race seats and driver side has set of Team Tech Belts. Passenger side belts are Team Tech. The car is wired for two-way radios. The cars weight is approximately 3360lbs. Another couple hundred pounds could come out very easy. The class that I race in calls for 3280lbs.

BRAKES – Red Z06 calipers, factory rotors, stainless brake lines, Custom Bias spring and Performance Friction pads and Castrol SRF high temp fluid

ROLLERS – Front: 17inch Kinesis with Hoosier 275/40R17, Rear: 17inch Kinesis with Hoosier 315/35R17 - There is a back up set of Kinesis wheels that have a different offset that I use for high speed events.
