The car passed through the registration process today. Looks like a wreck but it´s now street legal!







We will hopefully start disassembling the car on Saturday.

Thank you, it feels great to have it in the system and I am now able to keep it insured.

The car is now partly disassembled and the "fun" part has begun, it is very time-consuming to align all the bits and pieces. I´m glad that there are a lot of adjustment built in to the original mountings.

so what are the next steps? what do you want to modify?

The next step is to start working on small but important things such as:

- repair minor damages to one of the doors
- mold a frontbumper without the headlight washer unit
- manufacture the rear fenders
- straighten out a dent in the rear bumper
- fit all the pieces together

The last sentence is very time-consuming and I will post some pics in the future but it will take some time before it is ready for a paint-job.

I am very confused regarding what paint I should use, I am allergic to yellow and black. Perhaps a Stahlgrau from the old BMW E30 would look god. Or some kind of Bronze-metallic, or silver with large metallic grains

I only know Stahlgrau from the E46 M3 but i love this color!

For me the best combination for a car is Stahlgrau and cinnamon leather.
Also the white color from the Gallardo LP560 is absolutely great in my opinion.

Ok, that´s the color I meant! I think I need to finish the car and then use photoshop to see what color would look good.

Here is a new front, this front will not have the holes for headlight washers or the ugly parking light that also was needed to get the car registered. These parking lights have to be white instead of yellow in Sweden.
