Hallo, noch einmal.
Also, das schreibt der Typ.
Werde mal zusehen, das ich die Codes bekomme. Da erkennt man dann schon mehr.
Farbe scheint original zu sein, aber der Rest.......?
Corvette StingRay Red, 4 Speed Convertible!
This vette has the Mille Miglia Red exterior, code correct Black vinyl interior, and black convertible top. Numbers matching 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Originally assembled on February 29, 1972, this 1972 Corvette Convertible has two very desirable features that are rarely seen together, particularly on a convertible -- this car features both the correct Corvette color Red (Mille Miglia) AND a 4 speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter! This car's paint is older driver quality, and in overall good to fair condition.
The car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, tilt and telescopic steering wheel. The power steering pump and hoses have been replaced.
With the exception of the windshield, all glass on this car shows a correct date code. The black vinyl top is in great shape along with a crystal clear back window because the top has been replaced.
Chrome bumpers look to be original, but are still in good to very good condition with moderate pitting. Exterior door handles are in good condition with no finish or rubbing issues, and the weather-stripping is older and in fair to good condition.
Taillights are in very good condition. Rally wheels and trim rings are in good condition.
Tires are vintage BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter, with a substantial tread depth remaining.
The interior is excellent condition.
The interior of this 1972 Corvette Convertible shows recent seat covers and foam in good condition, with recent door panels in excellent condition as well.
Steering wheel is in very good condition with less than heavier wear than normal, and no cracks or other major flaws. Gauges show no fading, and are in good condition with very good condition lenses. Every gauge works properly (except clock). Carpet is correct loop style, and has been recently replaced. (Back compartment requires carpeting replacement, compartment doors work and look good. Battery door locks.)
Center console is in good condition, and GM seatbelts are present and in good to excellent condition also. Radio has been replaced with a Pioneer cassette player.
Was sagt euch das?
Viele Grüße
Axel
Dashboard is in good condition other than typical top cracking.
New Holley four-barrel carburetor. The engine block shows correct matching casting numbers.
Vacuum actuated headlights actually work, with two canisters replaced. (I still have to play with the wiper door…)
Engine runs strong. The console info says: 350 cu, 360 lbs foot torque, 9.0.1 compression ratio. The valve covers gaskets have been replaced with Felpro heavy-duty brand gaskets (aluminum valve covers). The rear main seal leaks a little.
All shocks have been recently replaced. Frame appears to be solid and rust free. I’ve owned the car since 1999 and it’s always been garaged. This car is well worth restoring with its rare options, and is far from a basket case -- this would make an easy restoration, or simply drive as-is and restore as you go.
Either way, this car definitely won't last long at this price, so call us now!! Features include 4 speed manual transmission, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM cassette radio. Mileage is original 58,032 based on document I have from the dealer that sold the car to me.
