CENTERFORCE meint also, dass die Fliehgewichte etwaige geringe Unwucht der Druckplatte sogar auszugleichen vermögen, da sie sich selbst zentrieren.
Des weiteren behaupten die, dass das sehr geringe Gewicht der Gewichte nur minimale Auswirkung haben könnte und schon gar keine Motorschäden verursachen könnte.

We prefer to address clutch problems on a case by case basis - this is largely due to the many variables involved when replacing clutch components. Our patented centrifugal weight system has proven itself over millions of miles and literally hundreds of thousands of vehicles during the last 25 years. The Centerforce system is designed to be free-floating and will self-center on the clutch diaphragm spring. In an extreme out-of-balance condition (usually caused by improper or missing mounting hardware, an out of balance flywheel and/or balance modifications made to the pressure plate after leaving our factory) the Centerforce weight system can shift slightly - however, the weight system will always maintain its concentricity to the actual center of balance. Meaning that the Centerforce weights will try to correct a slight out-of-balance - keep in mind this is not their primary function as the mass and range of motion is limited. The Centerforce weights are designed to add clutch clamping force as engine speed (RPM) increases - this gives you a progressive type clutch with excellent grip while maintaining an easy pedal effort. Rest assured, all of our clutches are factory balanced! The fact that our system weighs just a very small fraction (about 8 ounces) of the overall clutch and flywheel assembly mass (usually between 25 to 40 pounds) AND the fact that the weights are mounted so close to the center of rotation, means that they have very little effect on overall balance and would in no way cause an in vehicle vibration little lone a crankshaft failure.
