Hallo
Habe gerade im US Forum gelesen, dass das 650 Ft/Lbs Drehmoment GM T56 VIPER 6 Gang Getriebe nicht mehr erhältlich ist.
Dies ist das Getriebe, das ich mit sehr wenigen Umbauten in die 68er einbauen konnte.
Jetzt gibt es nur noch das ordinäre 475 Ft/Lbs T56, das den Gangehebelausgang nicht so optimal liegen hat, wie das Viper Getriebe.

Unfortunately we cannot get the correct T-56 for the C3 anymore. They took a Viper 6 speed to make it correct for the shift location and those are not available to the aftermarket anymore. The other T-56's that we do have , does not allow us to hit the correct shift location. Not to mention the fact that they are only rated for 475 hp/ftlb where as the Viper was rated for 650hp/ftlb. If you were willing(most are not) to do heavy modification to your car we can get you a 6 speed but you would be shifting about 4" back from the stock location. We do however still offer the Perfect Fit Kit using a 5 speed TKO. No cutting or Modification required.
Da habe ich wohl im richtigen Moment noch zugeschlagen.
