Hallo,

Welcome. If you are planning to come over there is one simple question: Army or not ?
If you run the car under a US registration there is nothing that you need to take care of. If you come over privately and take your car with you and will then run it under a German registration there a some things....
....1st if you own the car as part of your household and bring it over you are not allowed to sell the car within a certain period.....guess a year or so....ask Woodstock....he knows that in greater detail as he has done it personally. If you sell the car within that period you would have to pay customs and tax @ approx 26% of the contract value.
...other than that preparing a German registration requires a good portion of paperwork which, for a Z06 has to be made individually as there is no general type registraiton in existance. That has already been done by Geiger in Munich...so I would ask those people......also a good place to buy a BMW (Munich..not Geiger).
Some modifications in terms of yellow turn signals and stuff like that are necessary. Ask for a total offer to get all that done. Maybe he is also able to help you in selling the car.
The value of the car....hm...that's a bit difficult might be somewhat in the range of 38.000 to 43.000 Euros would be my guess. I'more into prices of the vintage cars...
